Generic Basic Planck-P5 Page
This page is called Planck1 because it is a starting point, but it was actually written long after Planck 2-5 and even version 1.0 of planckBike. It is January, 2026. I have taken about a year and a half off from coding, after getting to a basic riderless downhill bike in PlanckBike.
Now I want to get back to coding, but focus on sediment transport. Rather than diving right into that I decided to create a basic but up-to-date page for use as a starting point, and to remind me how to use JS, P5 and Planck-js.
This page contains a P5 canvas, a simple topographic floor, a Pause/Resume button and physics bodies that fall from the sky when (and where) the mouse is pressed. Radio buttons determine whether the bodies are square or circular and a slider sets the number of bodies created with each click. Also, looking ahead to stratigraphic apps, the color changes with each "event".
